Hi there,
I’m Jessica, the face behind Darcey Floralscapes.
Darcey Floralscapes began with a desire to design and create beautiful weddings and to bring the day of your dreams to life! With my background in theatre, I have great attention to detail, creativity in abundance and a real commitment to my clients and their event. I trained at the Tallulah Rose Flower School which has informed my approach to sustainable floristry techniques and natural ways of designing, creating and styling weddings and events.
My floral designs are romantic, natural and artful and very importantly, I am a foam free florist therefore, I use only sustainable methods of floristry mechanics in my work. I lovingly home produce and use seasonal blooms of the highest quality in my arrangements, as well as blooms sourced from local flower growers and occasionally, from my wholesaler.
My venue designs are elegantly textured and romantically elevated with an earthy connection to nature, being always inspired by the ever changing seasons. I understand that every couple is unique, and your wedding should reflect your individual style. Therefore, a big source of inspiration for me, are my clients and their event vision. I love it when designs are born out of a personal memory and connection, either to a particular flower or a place and witnessing all the emotions this can bring to your day. It’s so special!
A passion of mine ~
Cumbria is a hive with local artisan businesses and people whom I really enjoy collaborating with to create uniquely crafted pieces specially for you and your event. If this is of particular interest to you, please let me know and we can research and develop this further into your wedding design.
